I Studied theoretical physics from 1999 after graduation from technical high school (communications engineering). After working for major vfx-studios in Germany, United States and Uk, I founded Industrial Motion Art in 2007 and leading the company as art director, supervisor and chief executive.
Because of my interest in science and development I am cooperating with different universities (for example University of Applied Arts Vienna, Rutgers State University, FH BFI Vienna) to develop new ways of digital art but also to help and teach upcoming artists.
Industrial Motion Art regards itself as a broad collective of young people with different backgrounds and fields of experience, whose position in the creative world of Film and Television is mainly anchored in the Visual Effects and Digital Art-, but also in the Production domain.
Three different headquarters strengthen Industrial Motion Arts stand an international studio which has garnered many prizes for its digital production work. Instead of however presenting a long list of already won awards, what we consider an even more important issue is expressing our emphasis concerning our continuous pursuit to find new possibilities of co-operations not only in the scope Film and Television but also with other visual media forms, such as Graphic Novels or Avantgarde Installations.
Openness, a sense for potential and most significantly audacity and a willingness to confront risks are all characteristics which shape the self conception of Industrial Motion Art and fortify our uniqueness.
